Wildernest is a historic farmhouse set on a 22-hectare natural estate just 1 km north of Nexø. Here you live in the front row to the sea, surrounded by dramatic coastal landscapes, wildlife, small lakes, and ancient traces of Bornholm’s history.
Three unique holiday apartments
Wildernest consists of three individually designed apartments, each named after the wildlife that lives in the surrounding nature:
- The Swan – a romantic apartment for 2 guests
- The Fasan – a spacious apartment for up to 4 guests
- The Deer – our largest apartment for 4–6 guests
Each apartment is thoughtfully restored with respect for the farmhouse’s history dating back to 1857, combining exposed beams, natural materials, and calm, nature-inspired interiors with modern comfort.
All apartments feature fully equipped kitchens, comfortable bedrooms, and private outdoor areas with sea views – perfect for slow mornings, long summer evenings, and life close to nature.
Nature at your doorstep
From Wildernest, you can step directly into some of Bornholm’s most striking landscapes. Follow the coastal path to the charming harbour of Årsdale, swim between cliffs at Ny Sjølla just 500 metres away, or explore Nexø with cafés, shops, and local life only minutes from the property.
